Interview with Pilates instructor Alyna Rost
The time has come for the lovely Alyna Rost, who lives in Sydney.
1. WHO IS ALYNA ROST?
I am a follower of all things fitness related, I am an ex. Professional Ballet Dancer, a Pilates Mentor, a Business Owner, a Mum and a Wife.
2. WHAT IS YOUR LIFE MOTTO?
To find balance and happiness.
3. WHAT ARE YOU EXTRA CURIOUS ABOUT RIGHT NOW?
I am always curious about exploring Pilates development, as well as food nutrition and nourishment.
4. WHAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BODY TO YOU?
Someone who lives a healthy, happy and fulfilled life and is confident and happy in their own body.
5. WHAT IS PILATES TO YOU?
Pilates is what I love to do and feel. It’s what I want everyone to feel. Pilates is a time for you to focus on you. Pilates is movement that allows you to focus on your breath and your mind and body connection.
6. WHAT IS THE PERFECT PILATES OUTFIT?
Anything that you feel comfortable and confident in!
7. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PILATES MOVES?
There are so many to choose from! I do love any plank combination on every piece of equipment. I also love Feet in Straps on the Reformer – I think it’s been one of my favorite for 20 years now!
8. IN YOUR OPINION, WHY IS PILATES SUCH A GOOD WORKOUT?
I think Pilates is the best workout because it challenge you to learn, commit and develop a deeper understanding of your body and mind.
Pilates allows you to develop strength, flexibility and sculpt the body through intelligent movement. The ability to learn to move mindfully encourages a stronger mind and body connection. Pilates is time for you.
