Hey Jasmine, I am so glad we could do this interview with you. Tell me, what specific thing do you love the most about Stockholm?
That it looks like Venice.
Wow! Now you just made all native Stockholm peep's day :) What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Working out.
Lovely! What is your favorite workout?
Since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated with martial arts such as boxing and Thai Boxing.
I understand why, it’s a really fun way to workout. Do you rather workout by yourself, in a group or together with a friend?
I actually enjoy doing it alone. Although I definitely find motivation to workout with friends. And when it comes to cardio or yoga I love doing it in a group.
At what time during the day, do you prefer working out?
I sit around all day at the office so I like to exercise after work but not too late in the day.
I am curious and really would like to hear about your first Pilates experience?
I laughed when I saw the strange looking machines. To my surprise, the class was a great workout. At first, I thought how difficult could the class be since the stretching started off with a simple hamstring stretch but the second sequence involved a crazy ab routine I did while lying on my back that left me wincing in pain, but it was really fun.
What is the ultimate sportswear according to you?
I believe if the sportswear can match up the performance and be worn straight from the gym and out to lunch, then they are great.
Enough of the workout questions. Tell me, when do you feel the most creative?
I’m addicted to multitasking, and find myself most creative when I switch between tasks.
What is the one thing you could never live without?
Listening to music.
Totally agree! It sets the mood for the day. Do you have any current obsession in life?
To be happy. Life is short, so it should not be filled with frustration and anger or bitterness.
Love to hear that! When was the last time you laughed out loud, and just could not stop laughing?
Hahaha three weeks ago when I visited Egypt - my origin home - and had a reunion with my friends.
What if you had an unlimited amount of money, and knew that you would not fail, what would you do?
Finance an agency to help families find financial resources to pay for adoption.
That’s a really good answer! Can you tell us about a hidden talent of yours?
A friend once said, I can lift massive weights at the gym but I look small.
Who is the most fashionable person you know?
My Tunisian friend Ines.
If anything, what scares you the most, in life?
Losing my beloved ones.
Your favorite vacation spot in the world, and why?
Italy. I’m totally in love with this stunning country. Italians are very friendly, they master the art of living. It might be cliché to say but the food is really good because they make it with love. Italy is full of nice lakes, active volcanoes and the best beaches in the world.
Do you have any favorite podcasts?
Beautiful Stories From Anonymous People, by the Comedian Chris Gethard who talks on the phone with an anonymous listener for one hour.
